A multitude of officers line the front of the Capitol in silence, honoring fallen US Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick. He passed away due to injuries sustained while on-duty. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

A video emerged of Ted Cruz encouraging the acts of violence that took place at the Capitol that resulted in the death of a police officer. Later on he said he disagreed with President Trump’s rhetoric.
