22 year old Miya Ponsetto who was caught on camera allegedly physically assaulting a 14-year-old Black teen and falsely accusing him of stealing her phone was arrested in California. In an exclusive interview, Miya Ponsetto and her lawyer spoke with Gayle King hours before she was arrested.


Ponsetto tried to imply she's just a young, foolish 22 year old when she was attacking an actual child. I hope her lawyer doesn't try to use that defense in court.


What I find interesting is how she refers to herself as a 22 year old girl and the 14 year boy as a man. That says it all about how black boys are seen in this country. Not as boys but as men. There’s a problem with that.
