TikToker @haleyyjay posted a video allegedly showing security camera footage of her ex-boyfriend hopping her fence and waving at the security camera.

She explains herself on Twitter writing, “I’m being stalked by my ex boyfriend and his behaviour is escalating. He’s violent and dangerous. I don’t know what else to do. Cops wont really help. I really am so sorry. I don’t know how I allowed someone in my life like this. I’m really at a loss. It is what it is.”

Hayley said she wouldn’t have to resort to posting content online if the police took the situation more seriously, writing, “I had a very young officer look me directly in the face and say, ‘The law isn’t written in a way that protects you.”

A temporary restraining order is one type of domestic restraining order that lasts between 20 to 25 days until a court hearing date. After a person files court forms on what kind of order they want and why, a judge will give the restraining order if they decide the person needs protection.

Hayley previously opened up on TikTok about being a domestic abuse survivor.
