The video was posted by Chloe on Twitter shows a women allegedly assaulting hikers on a trail in Orleans, a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario. Hiking trails in this area have signs saying you must keep 2 metres apart, and some places do require you to wear mask. The women in the video – as pointed out by one of the hikers – is wearing two masks. It’s unclear what led to this altercation, but it appears Karen is belligerent the hikers aren’t wearing masks as they crossed paths with her.

When I first saw the video, it looks like the group of hikers grabbed her. But in the first few frames you can see her charge the man in black and trying to take something from his hands, which appears to be binoculars. He pulls away, then she lunges at him, pushes him, then goes after the wife with her pole, using them as weapons, which could be considered lethal.

Which makes me wonder: Who trained these dogs? Aren’t dogs supposed to bark and go crazy when something like this happens.

I feel for this woman. She is clearly terrified! I’m in no way condoning what she did. But fear makes people irrational. We’ve probably all started witnessing paranoia like this by now, courtesy of our ‘government’ and fueled by the media. If you see yourself in this terrified woman, please just stay home. You have passed the point of no return.
