In a hot mic incident recorded over the Mineta San Jose International Airport’s air traffic control scanner, an unidentified pilot was heard delivering an expletive-heavy rant.

He’s not wrong. The perception is that Bay Area people are indeed weirdos. But I’m disappointed by the quality of the rant. No creativity or humor at all! There are PLENTY of things to make fun of: $17 cocktails; housing costs; our recycling obsession; our politics, hypocrisy and wealth disparity; street poops; IPOs… and he went with Hyundais?! Lame.

Johnny Depp is getting support from what some might think is an unlikely group, but maybe not -- an org protecting women and children. The group, Mission NGO, is Italian-based, and fronted by former Miss Italy Valeria Altobelli. She expressed "compassion" for Johnny in the wake of his trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.
