A male nurse was punched in the eye after he told another passenger to put on a mask in a crowded subway. Wearing a mask is obligatory on the Metro.

Some say the assailant may have been wearing brass knuckles with a blade attached to it to cause that kind of damage.

I found it strange that after this happened, no one bothers to help the guy either. I hope the assailant gets arrested and sued. Then they can think about how restrictive a mask is while in a jail cell. I never understood why people would resort to violence over a simple request/question.
