So Brian returns home without his fiancé and he and his parents decide it’s a perfect time to go off on a family weekend getaway, all the while ignoring Gabby’s parent’s calls and texts while they are freaking out. Laundrie’s neighbor said that Brian and his parents acted like nothing was out of the ordinary when he returned alone from the road trip. Yes, that’s right, Brian showed up to their home with Gabby’s van, it was her van, without Gabby. Gabby was living with Brian and his family for 2 years before this. And then all 3 of them go camping in his parents new camper van. 


The couple in the television interview said they did not immediately think it was strange for the Laundries to go camping, but did not know at the time that Petito was missing. The neighbors said they told the police what they observed.
