At Spread Creek where her body was found, an amateur investigator discovered something unusual nearby: ashes. Conclusions were immediately drawn that Gabby Petito had been burned.

The girl with him couldn’t have been more insensitive when she said, “We found it, let’s have dinner now.”

Anyway, I don’t think the body was burned by Brian Laundrie. The ashes look somewhat fresh, not almost a month old. I think the camp fire was actually part of Gabbie’s step Dad saying goodbye. Her stepfather was the one that made that cross for her, and he potentially made a fire near it as part of a ceremony.

Also, the Coroners were able to identify Gabbie’s body by the tattoos on her. So if she was burned, this wouldn’t be possible. My other theory was that it could have been a campfire made by both Gabbie and Brian.
Anyway, I ultimately feel people should have more respect for where Gabby Petito died. I think they should have sectioned this area off so that her spirit can be better laid to rest.

Gabby Petito’s family has released a statement that services for her are now set at Maloney Funeral Home in Holbrook on Sunday, September 26th from 12pm-5pm. May she Rest In Peace.
